August Holiday

It seems the Summer is winding down, going so quickly, a bit too fast...  

August at our house is the month for harvesting, canning, preparing wood and finishing tasks indoors & out for the colder days ahead - the chilly 45 degree morning today made me realize the cold days will too soon be here – but most importantly for squeezing in lots of quality family time.  Between family visitors, summer camps, activities, the garden and building our barn, I feel as if this Summer if flying by and I want to slow it down, just a little. 

That said, I am taking this month to be with my children, they're growing up too fast - to swim, run, bike, play & work with them, to enjoy the last days of Summer 2010.  I also need to get organized, plan lessons and prepare for our homeschool year.  


So, I am officially going on Holiday this August right here at home!  
I will be here on Fridays and I hope you'll join me for some “Moments” - I'll be visiting many of you to see your "Moments" too - but otherwise this space will be quiet for this last full month of Summer.  

I’ll see you back here fully in September 2010, after Labor Day of course =) Until then,
