Beauty after the storm...
and with this foot of heavy wet snow
Mother Nature let us know it's time...Sugaring Time!
We'll be tapping trees and starting to collect sap this weekend
In addition to spending time enjoying all this wonderful snow - Skiing, of course :-)
Wishing you a lovely weekend!

  2. Wow, so gorgeous! All these could land in a magazine enticing everyone to your part of the world. Your barn looks so quaint surrounded by all that snow. At least you know how to take advantage of it all. Good for you for getting out on the slopes the other day, and by yourself...I'm impressed.

    1. Thanks, we do like our snow around here :-) Must confess, I go skiing A LOT - like at least 2-3 mornings a week after school drop off, either by myself or with some other moms from school :-) The mountain is just 5 minutes from the kids school and I catch the first chairlift up, ski for 2 hours then head home to the house or to the office to get some work done. I often pick up the kids at school (their school gets out at 1:50pm) and we drive straight to the mountain, ski until the lifts close and then head home to make dinner. Between Cole having Race Team practice 4 days a week and sneaking off the mountain when we can, I think we may qualify as "Ski Bums" ;-)
