Yes, It's the beginning of Mud Season here in New England!
Maple trees are flowing, that is soooo good,
but the parts of our yards and property that are thawing on the North face, well,
those are just Mud! -
I encourage you to look up "Mud Season New England" on your browser -
it means the top of the ground is thawed, but 4-6 inches down it's still frozen like a rock, meaning all that thawing on top is just, well,
mud and standing water with nowhere to drain, that is,
until the true thaw comes in another month or so!
The pups, now 18 months, are sad to see the snow melt and have boycotted it in every way.
Even Cole's 120 pound body can't stop the pups from
resisting the shoveling all of that beautiful snow -
see for yourself :-)
