Although it's a little early (officially Autumn doesn't start until September 22) this morning's 40 degree temperature and the changing trees outside my window are turning my thoughts to the season ahead, I leave you with my random thoughts....
First frost and harvest time,
apple picking and
backyard pumpkin patch exploring,
leaves changing, morning air cooling,
cold season knitting and hopefully a little crafting, sewing and quilting,
and not to forget the beginning another year of adventures in homeschooling :-);
and with the last jars of the garden's bounty preserved,
woodstove cleaned and final wood stacked in rows pristine ready to keep us warm;
we somewhat reluctantly say so long summer, those long full days forever cherished,
but welcome Autumn's arrival in all her glory and splendor.
May you fall into the beauty of the season close at hand...
