September 21, 2009 - Fairwell to Summer

Our official last weekend of summer was spent enjoying the outdoors - the changing cool autumn sailing wind, digging in the garden and picking the last of the harvest, sights and sounds of flocks of geese heading south, trees showing their glorious color, our first real frost on Sunday morning which motivated my start of two new kids hats on the knitting needles and of course, a little time on the water...
(still more time on the water in store until the ice arrives);

And so with the passage of this last summer weekend we ask you to take this moment of reflection with us as we remember this final weekend of summer 2009... we'll see her again only next year.
