On this Good Friday

On this Good Friday...

Praying with my children and reflecting about sacrifices we all have made during Lent,

talking to them about Mary's pain and the pain all felt on Good Friday,

making Hot Cross Buns using this recipe
for my family and our 2 neighbors to remind them

how He carried the cross for all of us.

Taking time to reflect on His sacrifice and

waiting quietly for the hope and renewal His resurrection brings...

I just heard of the tradition of making hot crossed buns and didn't put the two together, of Jesus carrying the cross...what a nice way to remember His passion!
