Our house is a jumping with preparations for the big day,
so much left to finish this list doesn't say,
cookies, breads and treats to bake,
hand crafted items to finish and make,
presents to wrap,
a holiday meal to prepare, but no time to nap,
for the time will pass by in a snap,
for the time will pass by in a snap,
and all this before the magic Sleigh arrives in the snow,
and the jolly man down our very hot woodstove chimney must go,
... the roof is quite icy,
and I have advised Santa's reindeer to please land ever so nicely -
rooftop treats await his team,
and homemade cookies and warm milk will surely give him more steam ...
Now, with dreamy visions and so much left to do, I must leave you this year, for I'll see you all back here in 2010 (if not before), and until then I wish you a Happy Christmas spent with those so dearly you love. May the magic of the season give you overwhelming joy! - Erin
