Springtime Weekending

Shots of a very relaxing weekend, gardening, playing, good food and time spent together with the sights and smells of Spring all around...
The first leaves on trees
Painting in the yard - I love outdoor painting time -  Cleanup is so much easier :-)
Onions
Sour cherry buds
A freshly painted native New England bee house waits for it's new residents
Loving the wildflowers that grow in our stonewalls
Such a lovely spring weekend has left me energized for the week ahead!
Off to start the school day with the kids...
How was your weekend?

  1. Wanting more pictures of the chickens. Since I cant have my own (yet), I have to live vicariously through others.

  2. Mike & Jen -

More chicken photos coming soon . George also bought 5 Guinea keets last Friday (born Thursday) - they are supposed to be great predator "alarm" sounders for our free range chickens - I hope they'll do a good job warning them - they keets are very cute - all striped like a wild bird, but must say I'm partial to my hens :-) Updates later this week - crazy day tomorrow!

  3. Such fun pictures of the kids making crafts. That's a great idea to contain it outside for less clean up later. Love the wildflowers in your stonewall. Mike is definitely checking regularly for more pics. He's like a little kid:)
