I'm just getting back into my groove now, full-fledge, house organizing, holiday decor down, ski gear re-waxed, new lighter food menu groove, that is and I realized that I haven't yet posted anything from the kids school holiday concert!
They both were busy, musically - they sang in the choir, played in the bell choir, Nikki played flute in the band, and for the first time they played in a violin trio!
The song was "O Come Little Children" - one they had learned quite some time ago from their fabulous violin teacher - Alissa - but playing in a trio was quite the challenge for both Cole & Nikki, they are so used to just playing violin on their own!
The room was freezing and we had to deal with violins that didn't like the temperature
(or want to stay in tune) but they both had their game on that night and their classmate (the 3rd member of the trio ((in the center)) did equally as well).
All in all it was a lovely evening (minus my poor video skills)...

I didn't know your kids played the violin, too. My sister-in-law's kids all 3 play as well and have made great strides in their skills. Cole and Nikki did wonderful especially considering it was their first trio. It sounded lovely.
